No Defense of Marriage Act

Conservatives are losing (have lost) the DOMA argument only because the tea party has been allowed to defend it.

I have said it before, the current republican party is not conservative, and is slowly becoming irrelevant. The former party defends the Defense of Marriage Act, one that defines marriage between a man and a woman, with the likes of Newt Gingrinch (on his 3rd wife), Rush Limbaugh (4th wife?), and others who have more wives than successful bills in Congress. What could possibly go wrong with that?

In the end, they lost with the Supreme Court ruling last week. DOMA is dead. No matter which side of the argument you are on, it is clear the republican party is nothing more than a party of hypocrites calling for protecting the sanctity of marriage all the while they are banging their interns. Even the sponsor of the DOMA, former republican Congressman Bob Barr was married 3 times. (Barr now supports the repeal of DOMA) Conservatives can blame the republican party for their support of Barr, Gingrich, Limbaugh, Larry Craig, Charlie Crist, Senator Vitter, Dick Armey, John McCain, Bob Dole, to name a few, to defend DOMA.

The republican party deserved this ruling. As a true conservative, I didn't,  but then again, I don't exist.
