Neil Armstrong at Home of Human Spaceflight

Legends of America's space program gathered at Johnson Space Center to honor the first man to walk on the Moon, Neil Armstrong. It was standing room only inside the Teague Auditorium. About 700 NASA employees, friends and family were on hand to honor Armstrong and his actions. After remarks by Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins and Jerry Griffin, the attendees moved to the Astronaut Memorial Tree Grove where a large live oak was dedicated in Armstrong's honor.
