Bay Area Houston Senator: TWIA homeowners need to pony up.

TWIA policy holders are about to get screwed, again. According to Texas State Senator Larry Taylor of the Bay Area concerning the higher premiums coming for TWIA homeowners, as reported by the Texas Tribune:
“It’s time to move on,” said state Sen. Larry Taylor, R-Friendswood, an insurance agent. “People either need to make their repairs or get their insurance elsewhere. This is an insurer of last resort, it’s not a charity.”

You might want to read that again “It’s time to move on,” said state Sen. Larry Taylor, R-Friendswood, an insurance agent." Larry Taylor makes money from selling TWIA policies to homeowners in his district. If anyone is getting charity is it Larry Taylor and those paying it are in his very own district.

Taylor continued "Taking money from homeowners in my district doesn't bother me one bit. It is like taking  candy from a baby too focused on the mobile above his head instead of me picking their pocket and dating their daughter."

(Actually he didn't say that, but I bet he thought it!)

  1. Whoa, I thought Bay Area senator Mike jackson was perhaps doing something unusual foJ himself when he and local state rep John Davis pushed through the new law to exempt Bayport chemical plant from paying Clear Lake City Water Authority taxes which will raise the water costs for about 12,000 Bay Area Clear Lake residents. That, and this is Channel 11 expose shows our state senator is all about money, our money going into his pockets!
